For electric wheelchairs. Folds-away console is mounted on wheelchair tray. When wheelchair is not in motion, the tray is free for other uses.

Concept and machined prototype provided by client developed by Rokatec into an economically manufacturable housing, including folding mechanism. Design and function tested with SLS models.

Technical requirements, design and cost price are defining for choice of production technique with small quantities. Design of 2-part moulded plastic housing for electronics is mirror symmetrical. Product-specific characteristics of various versions are achieved using exchangeable inserts in the mould and machining operations.
